چکیده
We show that in a K transmit N receive antenna coherent narrowband communication system employing a decorrelating decision feedback detector (D-DFD, also known as BLAST), the diversity order of the joint error rate (JER) isN K+1. We derive the exact joint error rate (JER) as well as the symbol error rate (SER) without making the perfect feedback assumption and show that the diversity order of the SER of all transmitters is limited by error propagation to N K + 1. Based on our error probability analysis however, we obtain optimized constellation sizes (rates) and transmitter powers which yield significant improvement (6-8 dB) over the usual equal power and equal rate design. We provide simulation plots to verify the analytical results developed.

Hybrid Amplification: An Efficient Scheme for Energy Saving in MIMO Systems
In this paper, a new amplification scheme for adaptive MIMO systems is proposed and tested. In this “hybrid amplification” configuration, different amplifiers with different peak powers are used. In this way, each transmitter RF chain has a different DC-power consumption behavior. The adaptation algorithm, which chooses power and rate for each transmitter, uses these different amplifier behavio...
متن کاملDecision Feedback Detection Using Modulation Constraints for MIMO Rayleigh Fading Channels
We propose a new technique for designing decision feedback detectors (DFDs) wherein the per-symbol decision rules are obtained by exploiting modulation constraints. We present our results in the context of the multi-input, multioutput (MIMO) Rayleigh fading channel with N receive and K transmit antennas. Three cases are considered to illustrate our technique where all the transmitters employ re...
متن کاملOptimum Power Allocation over Fading Channels in Cognitive Radio Mimo Networks
A cognitive radio (CR) is a transceiver which automatically detects the available unused channels in the wireless spectrum. A cognitive radio network (CRN) is formed by either allowing the secondary users (SUs) to coexist with the primary users (PUs) or enabling the SUs to use the unoccupied portion of the spectrum. In this paper, the ergodic capacity maximization problem is studied in Rayleigh...

In this paper we analysis about MIMO relay systems in the presence of co-channel interference and feedback delay. Now a days, fading is a serious problem to transmit the information from transmitter to the receiver. Due to this Fading, we can’t get the full diversity order. so, that for achieving a Multiuser diversity, we have to analyze the performance of Average SER and outage probability of ...
متن کاملCapacity and power allocation for fading MIMO channels with channel estimation error
We investigate the effect of channel estimation error on the capacity of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) fading channels. We study lower and upper bounds of mutual information under channel estimation error, and show that the two bounds are tight for Gaussian inputs. Assuming Gaussian inputs we also derive tight lower bounds of ergodic and outage capacities and optimal transmitter power a...
